Boxing is a tough sport, where two men or women enter a ring, and fight each other using their glove-covered fists. The sport is considered by sporting analysts as the sweet science of sports, because it combines quick footwork, as well as the ability to read an opponent's moves, and the skill to deliver a punch at the right time. Boxing Basics
Once two boxers enter the ring, their fists are covered by gloves that are typically colored red, although some modern boxers would like to match their gloves with the color of their shorts or shoes. Each fight, or bout lasts for a series of rounds, usually 12 rounds, and a round lasts for at least three minutes. In an amateur boxing match however, each round lasts for just two minutes. A boxer can end a fight early if he either knocks his opponent unconscious, or if ever the referee thinks the fight is too dangerous for another boxer to continue.

Mike Tyson is probably one of the most colorful, enigmatic and fun boxers to watch. He is famous for his on-court antics like biting off an opponent's ear, and other weird but funny boxing antics. Mike is considered by many to be perhaps the craziest boxer in the last several decades. Mike Tyson is notorious for sporting those terrifying tattoos, his threats to eat his opponent's children, as well as for biting Evander Holyfield's ear. Mike also entered into show business after his boxing career, and one of his most unforgettable performances was in the movie The Hangover.
